Partnered Event Information
Understanding Partnered Events
A partnered event is one where local CBMC chapters collaborate with other Christian organizations or ministries focused on business to support and engage in a shared event. These gatherings aim to promote unity and foster connections among like-minded business professionals and organizations.
Key Differences
The primary distinction between a CBMC-hosted event and a CBMC-partnered event lies in the responsibilities. In partnered events, CBMC does not handle the following:
> Providing 1099 forms to speakers or vendors Issuing
> Certificates of Insurance for the venue
> Distributing tax receipts for the event
Important Identification
If a registration page is created in the event registration platform, it is essential to clearly identify the event as a Partnered event by selecting the ‘Partnered Event’ option as it’s event category type.

Important Note
When creating a registration page in AnyRegistration, it's important to understand that there is no option to redirect event attendees to a different registration page or link. *Tip:* You can include a link to the event's website within the event description; however, you cannot prevent the registration button from appearing on the event page.
Suggested Registration Options for Your Partnered Event
Here are a few options you might consider including:
> RSVP (A free interest option where the eventgoer indicates that they are interested in learning more about the event.)
> JOIN OUR TABLE (A free option where the eventgoer could sign up to join you at a CBMC table at the event.)
