There are several methods the Event Coordinator can utilize to check in attendees upon their arrival, ensuring a seamless entry process with the resources provided by AnyRegistration. Options include scanning QR codes on tickets with a scanner, utilizing name tags, or accommodating walk-ups at the door. These quick and efficient solutions will help fill the seats in no time!
USING NAMETAGS
Nametags (also known as labels) are a great tool for efficiently filling seats as guests arrive. Primarily utilized for connection events or smaller gatherings, these nametags can be easily created using the AnyRegistration platform. Just print them out and arrange them on a welcome table. The nametags that remain on the table indicate your no-shows.

Upon arrival at the event, registered attendees can be checked in effortlessly with just a click. For those who need to pay at the door, an expedited registration process is available. Attendees can either scan a QR code or have the Event Coordinator enter their email or mobile number to receive a link for registration. Both processes can be completed using a mobile device.

Many events feature tables, teams, or groups, which can make the entry process more complex. To streamline check-in, Event Coordinators can assign table numbers or team/group names to orders in advance. This allows registered table guests or team members to be checked in quickly and unregistered guests or team members to be added to an order upon arrival, at no cost.

Fast, contactless check-in is now available using the built-in QR code scanner in AnyRegistration. This feature allows event coordinators and volunteers to quickly check in attendees using a mobile device, tablet, or computer with a camera—no additional apps required.
Attendees automatically receive a QR code in their confirmation email/ticket after registering. Scanning the QR code instantly checks them in and updates attendance records in real time. (Note that eventgoers can add their ticket(s) to their Google Wallets to retain for quick access on the day of the event.)
Check-In Process With Scanner
1. Enable QR Code Entry
During event setup, select the checkbox labeled “Use QR Codes for Ticket Entry.”
2. Prepare the Scanning Device
Before the event, open: https://anyregistration.com/scan Allow camera access on your device.
3. Attendees Receive QR Codes
As individuals register, they automatically receive a confirmation email with a unique QR code.
4. Begin Scanning (Up to 90 Minutes Before Start Time)
Navigate to https://anyregistration.com/scan to begin scanning up to 90 minutes prior to the event start time, as attendees arrive.
5. Automatic Check-In
Each scan instantly checks the attendee into the event.
6. Review Attendance & No-Shows
After scanning, navigate to your event dashboard and select “Attendance / No Shows” to review attendance and mark any registrants who did not attend.

> Refresh scanner occasionally to ascertain real-time check-in
