Understanding the Difference Between Leader’s Portal and OneView

As we expand how we share information internally and externally, we want to clarify when and how to use the two main platforms we offer:
Leader’s Portal : https://leaders.cbmc.com/
and
OneView: https://cbmcusa.sharepoint.com/sites/OneView

What is the Leader’s Portal?

The Leader’s Portal is a new website built using Microsoft Power Pages. It is designed to serve a broad audience that includes staff, volunteers, and anonymous visitors.

Key Features:

  • 🌐 Public and private access: Some content is open to everyone, while other areas require users to sign in.
  • 👥 Ideal for volunteers and external users who do not have internal login credentials.
  • 🔐 Authenticated areas offer targeted content for logged-in staff.

Use Cases:

  • Access general resources without logging in.
  • Offer quick reference for wide-audience materials.

What is OneView?

OneView is our internal SharePoint-based intranet designed for staff members and vetted volunteers only. All content is protected and requires a secure login.

Key Features:

  • 🔒 All content is behind sign-in and accessible only to those with valid credentials.
  • 📁 Central hub for internal documents, team resources, and announcements.

Use Cases:

  • Collaborate on internal projects.
  • Access HR forms, team updates, and confidential resources.
  • Stay connected with internal announcements.
